Upgrading of Mileage Valid Rules- Benefits for Members of Sky Pearl Club

Distinguished members of Sky Pearl Club:

In order to optimize your membership rights, China Southern Airlines Sky Pearl Club releases the“Upgrading of Mileage Valid Rules” with the following details:

The present Mileage Valid Rules: Sky Pearl Club mileage is valid for 36 months from the month in which the mileage accrual occurred (expect for the special mileage with designated validity). Any mileage unredeemed within its validity will automatically be cleared.

The new mileage valid period rules will upgrade and postpone on the basis of the existing one to offer better experience for you.

1. 1. Gold and silver card members can have their full mileage automatically extend during the gold and silver card validity. The automatic extension for each time is 12 months. If the mileage is still not consumed 12 months after extension, the unused mileage will again be extendedon condition that the member still belongs to gold and silver card level. Therefore, the mileage of gold and silver members will not expire; however, if a member’s gold and silver card level degrades to basecard, then the period of validity for mileage will be handled according to basecard rules.
2. 2.Members with base card can register and participate in “Sky Pearl Mileage Extension Plan”. In that case, members can pay for 20% of mileage to redeem 12 months useful life (that is the rest 80% mileage fall due can be extended for 12 months). Mileage having been extended cannot be postponed again. If members fail to register and participate in mileage extension plan prior to the date due, the unused mileage will be cleared upon expiration.

The above upgrade new rules will be carried out from July 1 2015, that is to say, mileage which will expire on and after July, 2015 can be extended according to the new rule. From May 6th 2015, base card members can click “activity registration” to join the “Sky Pearl Mileage Extension Plan”. You are welcomed to participate.
