China Southern Launches New FFP Partnership with American Airlines
Guangzhou - China Southern Airlines, the largest airline in the People’s Republic of China, is pleased to announce a major expansion of its partnership with American Airlines with the launch of reciprocal frequent flyer benefits which include both accrual and redemption of mileage for free flights.
Beginning Wednesday, March 20, China Southern and American will launch a network-wide, frequent flyer partnership where members of the AAdvantage program and China Southern Airlines’ Sky Pearl Club can enjoy accrual and redemption benefits of each other airline.
Sky Pearl Club mileage may be accrued on more than 6,700 daily American Airlines flights to more than 350 worldwide destinations and Sky Pearl Club members may redeem their FFP mileage on AA flights.
Concurrently, AAdvantage members can accrue AAdvantage mileage on more than 3,000 daily China Southern Airlines flights to more than 224 worldwide destinations and can likewise redeem their AAdvantage mileage on China Southern flights.
This new frequent flyer partnership between China Southern Airlines and American Airlines will provide Sky Pearl Club members with more opportunities to accrue and redeem their valuable mileage and enjoy a new world of travel opportunities.
