The following updated chart is applicable to the award upgrade redemption on SkyTeam
Partners flights. We hope we can bring you seamless service beyond your

Three simple steps to confirm your SkyTeam award Upgrade:

Step one: Buying SkyTeam airline partners' international flights ticket (full economy
fare ticket) in classes listed in the table below. The operating carrier and the
marketing carrier must be the same "SkyTeam" member airline. Code-share flights are
not eligible for redemption.

Step two: Call China Southern Service Hotline 95539(domestic)
8620-86682000(International) to reserve a seat and deduct mileage. Our
representative will confirm your upgrade qualification and check the flight seats
availabilities. Please refer to the following "SkyTeam Award Upgrade Standard Table"
and related rules.

Step three: After completion of mileage deductions, at least three days prior to the
flight departure, please go to China Southern Airlines designated ticketing office
to reissue the ticket for mileage upgrade. (Air France/KLM Royal Dutch Airlines's
ticketing time limit have special requirements, please refer to the following
rules).
Now, you can go to the airport, start to enjoy our service such as free baggage
allowance, VIP lounges and other priorities service after upgrading.

SkyTeam Award Upgrade Conversion Rules:
- China Southern Customer Service Call Center at 020-95539(domestic) and
(8620)8668 2000(international) is the contact for the SkyTeam Award Upgrade
application.
- China Southern Sky Pearl Club members can use mileage to redeem the SkyTeam
international upgrade of the Airlines listed above. The original class must be
the classes listed in step one. The operating carrier and the marketing carrier
must be the same "SkyTeam" member airline. Code-share flights are not eligible
for redemption. All other classes don’t include in step one cannot be eligible
to award upgrade.
- SkyTeam Award Upgrade only allow the eligible upgrade form economy to the close
higher class of service. For example, if the higher class is business class,
only allow to upgrade to business class. If the higher class is first class, can
be allowed to upgrade to first class from economy class.
- Please avoid traveling on the blackout dates of the SkyTeam partners (KE now has
this restriction).
- Electronic ticket required. Ticket need to be reissued on SkyTeam carrier stock
only (associates included).
- After the mileage deducted, member should reissue the new ticket of the mileage
upgrade at least three days prior to the departure, but it’s not available if
there is no China Southern booking office. AF/KL requires tickets to be
reissued: within seven days of departure (if upgrade confirmed outside 10-days
prior to departure), within one day of departure (if upgrade confirmed within
10-days prior to departure).
- To increase the award upgrade segments is allowed, but the original upgrade
segment should be used, refund or cancelled.
- Multiple FFP mileage for the award upgrades of different segments are permitted.
But the segments using one FFP’s mileage should be used, refund and cancelled.
Award Upgrade for issuing the new ticket is valid ticket consistent with the
original payment.
- The validity of the new upgrade ticket is the same with the original paid
ticket.
- Rules of Award Upgrade Change:
- -After award upgrade tickets are issued, any voluntary change of the date or
flight will result in forfeiture of said flight upgrade. Endorsements are based
on the original class of service.
- In case of involuntary change, the airlines who finish the award upgrade is
responsible to change and reissue the ticket. Coupons with no mileage upgrade
segment involved, the operating carrier should be the primary contact.
- Rules of Award Upgrade Endorsement
- -In the voluntary cases, the class on the endorsement is the same as the
original class paid. Mileage will not be refund.
- -In the involuntary cases, the member holding the award upgrade ticket will be
rebooked on another flight. If the flight is not available, the member could
make the refund of involuntary cases.

please contact the original ticketing carrier.
