1. When your award mileages reach the extent of 10,000km will be qualified for award redemption.
2. Award ticket and award upgrade is required to book in the designated class. Award availability is subject to capacity control.
3. The mileage required for the infant and children's award redemption are the same as the adult.
4. Award ticket and award upgrade are not applicable to the special passengers who required the stretcher service.
5. If award ticket or award upgrade involves the special service (such as the Unaccompanied Children Service), Sky Pearl members should apply to China Southern according to the company requirement and be responsible for the additional fees involved.
6. There are two types of award ticket redeposit as voluntary and involuntary. Except the involuntary reason defined in General Condition on Domestic Passenger, Luggage Transportation of China Southern Airlines Company Ltd., the others are all voluntary redeposit.
7. To ensure your account safety, please provide the certificates listed below upon award ticketing and upgrade reissue:
o For Sky Pearl Club cardholder to travel: please provide Sky Pearl membership card or card number, ID card and its copy with the cardholder's signature.
o For the others to travel: please provide Sky Pearl membership card or card number and cardholder's ID card with the cardholder's signature, passenger's ID card and its copy.
o If entrusting someone else to get the award ticket, please provide his ID card and its copy.
8. Award tickets are valid for one year from the date of travel. Unused award tickets are valid for one year from the date of issue.
9. Lost award tickets will not be replaced nor refunded.
10. For award tickets deducted mileage but not yet issued, members should call the 24-hour China Southern Airlines customer service hotline at (86-20) 95539 within China and apply for their refund prior to the departure. Once the application is approved, the mileage will return to the account within three working days. Failure to apply for a refund by the time limit will result in the refusal of any mileage refund.
11. For award tickets already issued, members should apply for the mileage refund within the ticket validity. The expired award tickets fail to any mileage refund.
12. The documents required to provide upon the ticket refund are unused E-ticket verification or flight coupon and passenger coupon of paper ticket and the passengers' ID card (If entrusting someone else to get the award ticket, his ID card is required as well), as well as the membership number or card required.
13. Other transportation conditions not being listed are the same as the normal revenue ticket.
1. China Southern Award Tickets or Award Upgrades are only redeemable on the flights coded and operated by China Southern (excluding any CZ code-share flights) or designated flights on non-SkyTeam partner airlines.
2. Award tickets may be used for one-way, round-way and open jaw. The mileage is deducted based on a single segment.
3. Route, flight date and flight number must be decided upon booking China Southern Award Ticket. Open Jaw is not allowed to China Southern Award Ticket.
4. Sky pearl award ticket is not allowed to make a stopover in the itinerary.
5. Before ticketing, sky pearl award ticket is not allowed to do any change. After ticketing, it is allowed to change the flight date once within the ticket validity, but not allowed to change the flight route and carrier (except in the case of involuntary). If the new flight doesn't have the class of award ticket, member can change to the lower award class, but the mileage cannot be refund.
6. After mileage for award tickets is deducted, Sky Pearl Club members should go to the designated China Southern Ticketing Offices or China Southern website to pay the related taxes and issue the tickets immediately. Please note that if the required mileages of the award tickets has been deducted but not yet paid the taxes and issued, once the flights cancellation or delay happens, members could choose to endorse to subsequent China Southern flights or make the involuntary ticket refund, but endorsing to other carriers' flights is not permitted.
7. Refund in the involuntary cases: to refund 100% mileage of unused segments. The mileage refunded will be valid for 36 months from the day of refund.
8. Refund In the voluntary cases: to deduct 50% mileage of unused segments for the refund fee. Only valid mileage can be refund when applying the mileage refund rule Mileage is refunded in accordance with the month that the mileage used for the award was originally posted.

China Southern Check-in Award Upgrade is only applicable to those China Southern flights departing from Baiyun International Airport Guangzhou where Sky Pearl Club members can now redeem their mileage for award upgrades.
· China Southern Airlines' Domestic Flights: Departing Gold and Silver card members can use Check-in Counter C22 and Blue card members can use Counter D8 to redeem mileage upgrades; available three hours prior to departure and close if check-in is not accepted.
· China Southern Airlines' Hong Kong/Taiwan District Flights and International Flights: Departing Gold and Silver card members and Blue card members can use Check-in Counter F14 to redeem mileage upgrades; available five hours prior to departure and close if check-in is not accepted.
* FFP upgrade seating is limited.
* If mileage upgrade is completed two hours prior to departure, in-flight meals for the upgraded class of service will be provided at the airline's availability (except for special meal requests).

2. Sky Pearl Club members must follow (SkyTeam award ticket rules and regulations) upon applying for one or more SkyTeam member airlines' tickets.
3. SkyTeam award ticket is only eligible on the flights marketed and operated by SkyTeam partner airlines. Co-share flights between SkyTeam members and non-SkyTeam air partners are not eligible.
4. Sky Pearl Club mileage could be used for a SkyTeam award ticket operated by one SkyTeam member. For the purpose of flight connecting, you can redeem SkyTeam Award Ticket on one or more SkyTeam member airlines. If your travel plans include China Southern flights, they should be international flights (including Hong Kong and Macau routes).
5. China Southern domestic flight involved in the routes should follow China Southern Award Ticket Chart and rules.
6. SkyTeam award ticket rules are only applicable to award tickets (not to award upgrade).
7. SkyTeam Award Ticket Chart is applicable for round-trip, both one-way and round-trip tickets share the same standard.
8. SkyTeam award ticket is not allowed to a round-to-world ticket (transpacific and transatlantic in the same itinerary).
9. Route, flight date and flight number must be decided upon booking SkyTeam Award Ticket. Open Jaw is not allowed to SkyTeam Award Ticket and blackout date is applicable on some partners' flight.
10. Classes in different levels of service could mix book in the route, but mileage will be deducted by the standard of the highest class of service.
11. For flight connecting purpose, stopover (except the destination/returning point) is allowed once for SkyTeam award tickets.
12. Before ticketing, the mileage-deducted SkyTeam Award tickets could not do any change. SkyTeam award tickets already issued cannot changed routes and the name of passenger. Flight number and date can be changed within the ticket validity and 200RMB or equal value in local currency is charged per change.
13. Mileage refunds should be made in ticket's validity.
14. Mileage refunds should be handled at any designated China Southern Ticketing Office.
15. Mileage refunds are categorized as voluntary and involuntary. It costs time for China Southern to contact partner airline and confirm the nature of the refund- voluntary or involuntary.
16. Mileage refund regulations:
o Totally unused Award ticket—Voluntary: to refund 50% mileage and mileage is refunded in accordance with the month that the mileage used for the award was originally posted;
o Involuntary: to refund 100% mileage and the mileage refunded will be valid for 36 months from the day of refund. All tax paid will be refund.
o Partially used Award ticket—Voluntary: not allowed for refund; Involuntary: to refund 50% mileage and the mileage refunded will be valid for 36 months from the day of refund. Tax for unused segment will be refunded.

2. China Southern Sky Pearl Club members are eligible to redeem award upgrade on the international flights operated by AeroMexico (AM), Air France (AF), Delta (DL), Korean Air (KE), KLM(KL), Czech CSA (OK), Aeroflot (SU), but not eligible on the codeshare flights.
3. Only the following full fare economy classes are eligible to the award upgrade: AeroMexico (Y class), Air France (Y/S class), Delta (Y class), Korean Air (W/Y class), KLM(Y/S/X class), Czech CSA (Y/M class), Aeroflot (S/Y class).
4. SkyTeam Award Upgrade only allows the eligible upgrade form economy to the close higher class of service. For example, if the higher class is business class, only allow to upgrade to business class.
5. Please avoid traveling on the blackout dates of the SkyTeam partners (KE now has this restriction).
6. Electronic ticket required. Ticket need to be reissued on SkyTeam carrier stock only (associates included).
7. After the mileage deducted, member should reissue the new ticket of the mileage upgrade at least three days prior to the departure, but it's not available if there is no China Southern booking office. AF/KL requires tickets to be reissued: within seven days of departure (if upgrade confirmed outside 10-days prior to departure), within one day of departure (if upgrade confirmed within 10-days prior to departure).
8. To increase the award upgrade segments is allowed, but the original upgrade segment should be used, refund or cancelled.
9. Multiple FFP mileage for the award upgrades of different segments are permitted. But the segments using one FFP's mileage should be used, refunded and cancelled.
10. The validity of the new upgrade ticket is the same with the original paid ticket.
11. Rules of Award Upgrade Change
o After award upgrade tickets are issued, any voluntary change of the date or flight will result in forfeiture of said flight upgrade. Endorsements are based on the original class of service.
o In case of involuntary change, the airlines that finish the award upgrade are responsible to change and reissue the ticket. Coupons with no mileage upgrade segment involved, the operating carrier should be the primary contact.
12. Rules of Award Upgrade Refund
o Refund for award upgrade only happens in involuntary case.
o If the award upgrade totally unused, it is allowed to refund all mileage and the mileage refunded will be valid for 36 months from the day of refund. All tax paid will be refund.
o If partially used, it's allowed to refund 50% mileage and the mileage refunded will be valid for 36 months from the day of refund; Tax for the unused section refund.
13. Rules of Award Upgrade Endorsement
o In the voluntary cases, the class on the endorsement is the same as the original class paid. Mileage will not be refund.
o In the involuntary cases, the member holding the award upgrade ticket will be rebooked on another flight. If the flight is not available, the member could make the refund of involuntary cases.
14. For the refund of the segment paid instead of the award upgrade, the original ticketing carrier should be the primary contact.
